Onion Dip from the Grill

Ingredients

8oz.  sour cream
1/2cup  mayonnaise
2tsp.  instant beef bouillon granules
1tsp.  Worcestershire sauce
1medium green onion, sliced
1large sweet onion, cut into 1/2-inch slices
2tbsp.  balsamic vinaigrette salad dressing

Directions

Coat grill rack with nonstick cooking spray. Preheat grill to medium-high direct heat. Blend sour cream, mayonnaise, bouillon granules, Worcestershire and green onion in medium bowl. Cover and refrigerate sour cream mixture 20 minutes. Meanwhile, brush both sides of onion slices with dressing; place on grill. Grill, covered, 10 to 12 minutes or until soft, turning once. Remove onion from grill.
Finely chop grilled onion. Stir into sour cream mixture; mix well to blend. Cover and chill at least 1 hour to blend flavors. Serve with vegetables, chips or as spread on sandwiches.
