ground oregano | | 1/2 | tsp.
onion salt | | 1/4 | tsp.
ground thyme | | 2 | lb.
boneless beef top sirloin steak, about 1 inch thick | | Grilled onions (optional) |

Directions
 | In small bowl, stir together brown sugar, paprika (if desired), garlic pepper, cumin, oregano, onion salt and thyme. Make shallow diagonal slashes in both directions on both sides of steak. Rub steak evenly on both sides with seasoning mixture. Cover; set aside. |  | Heat grill to medium direct heat. Place steak on grill. Grill, covered, 5 to 8 minutes per side or to desired doneness. |  | Let stand 3 to 5 minutes before serving. Cut steak into thin slices and serve with grilled onions, if desired. |
