Cheese and Meat Bites

Cheese and Meat Bites

Ingredients

4oz.  cream cheese, softened
3/4cup  finely shredded Colby-Jack or pizza cheese
1 1/4tsp.  dried basil leaves
1/4tsp.  hot pepper sauce
6oz.  sliced ham, 6x5x1/4 inch thick
4oz.  sliced salami or summer sausage, cut about 1/8 inch thick
6oz.  sliced turkey (6x5x1/4 inch)
Vegetables and crackers (optional)

Directions

Blend cream cheese, shredded cheese, basil, and hot pepper sauce in small bowl. Pat meat dry with paper towels.
Divide and spread half of cream cheese mixture evenly on ham slices; top each with summer sausage. Spread each evenly with remaining cream cheese; top with turkey.
Carefully cut each stack into bite-size pieces. Secure with serving picks, if desired. Serve on platter with vegetables and crackers, if desired.
