Brown Sugar-Oat Apple Crisp

Ingredients

4large Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
1/2cup  golden raisins
2tsp.  ground cinnamon
1/4tsp.  ground nutmeg
1/8tsp.  ground cloves
1/3cup  packed brown sugar
1/2cup  all-purpose flour
1/2cup  dried oats
1tbsp.  dark corn syrup
1tbsp.  canola oil
2tsp.  butter, softened

Directions

Preheat oven to 400°F. Place apples in 8x8x2-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with raisins, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Lightly toss until combined. Pour 1/2 cup water over top.
In medium bowl combine brown sugar, flour and oats. Add the corn syrup, oil and butter. Using a pastry blender mix until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over apples. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown and apples are tender.
